iRobot

iRobot's innovative products have proved their worth on the battlefield and in the home. The pivotal challenge in designing their new headquarters was to meet the unique requirements of their core strategic business units, governmental/institutional and consumer products, while creating a unified and cohesive workspace. ADD Inc's design solution maintains the security and confidentiality requirements of iRobot's institutional clients without stifling creativity and communication across the entire company. The planning allowed for separation between the two business groups by establishing clearly defined customer focused spaces and defined tour routes. Bold lobby graphics and a “museum” celebrate the company's ongoing commitment to forge new paths in robotics. Demo rooms and wide aisles provide engineers and designer with ample space to test new ideas and afford opportunities for customers to get up close and personal with the products during real life simulations.
